June

June started with a return to work for me to finish off my last month of residency, and a great get together with friends. Kyndra and Rachel came from Penn and MI respectively with their new babies Hayden and Ethan and we also got together with the local girls Christi, Claire, Erika and Ella.

The first night we got together at Rachel's house and Tim showed off his BBQ skills.
Erika brought their pack and play for Ella (little did they know all 4 kids could hang out in it.)
Here is Ella, Claire, Ethan (going for a nipple on Teagan's arm), and little miss T who could not be bothered with the photo shoot and slept through the whole thing. (Mommy and Daddy were smart enough not to try to wake her.)

A few days latter we met at Christi's house for pizza, and we tried to do a group photo of all the babies from oldest to youngest again. This turned out to be harder than we thought.

Here is the line up

The melt down started

Hayden and Teagan seem to be oblivious to their surroundings and are just hanging out.

As they all topple over Ella tries to no avail to console the crowd (It is amazing that they learn to console others at such a young age)

After we got all the babes settled down we decided it would be nice (and might be easier) to get a group photo will all the moms and babies together. Jon who was laying low while we took over his house was nice enough to take the group mug shot.

A few days later we celebrated Kim Fusco's B-day. Kim's accessory for the night was little miss Teagan and both seemed happy with this pairing.

Molly and Dave were there too to celebrate

Teagan was a social butterfly at the party and loved all the attention of getting passed around. Dave took a turn near the end of the night.

Vanessa was Teagan's baby sitter for the first 2 weeks while I was back at work and she did great. Teagan loved her and was sad to see her start work, but Teagan was lucky to have Kourtney come out from Utah to be her nanny.

We celebrated Craig's first Father's Day on July 15th at our house. We were lucky enough to have Craig's parents bring over tons of fantastic food, Vanessa made us some sushi which in addition to tasting great was beautiful to look at. We made a onesie for Teagan in honor Craig.

Teagan sporting her new onesie. Daddy's "mini me"

Mehdi (a.k.a. Grandpa Max) enjoying a little Teagan time

Vanessa posing with Teagan and Bubba. Teagan's is Bubba's first great grandchild.

The Proud Pappa posing with his little one. (We put her name on the back, just in case the sleep deprivation got too bad for us to remember - hehe)
.

In addition to Teagan looking like her daddy they can often be found sleeping in the same position. (Now I know I took this picture with our slow camera and she moved right as I took the picture, but use your imagination and her hand was on her head just like daddy.)

Other things that happened this month:
Teagan started to like her bouncy seat and staring at the moving monkey and frog.

My mom finished Teagan's crib set

We took our first trip to the pool. She has yet to go in the pool, she just enjoyed being outdoors and showing off her new sunglasses.

We took lots of pictures on 4/22/2008 (when Teagan turned 8 weeks old).
We took some new photos with our friend Tadpole to show how much bigger she is getting.

Teagan grinning ear to ear

She has "found" her hands and in addition to being able to bring her hands together she is starting to see if she can fit her whole hand in her mouth.

Jada watching over to make sure miss T is okay in her bouncy seat.

Teagan has found her tongue and loves to show it off

We attended the wedding reception of Tracy, one of Craig's friends from UB. Tracy and her husband Danny got married in Hawaii, and this was their reception for friends on the east coast. We had a great time afternoon and I think we found the most friendly neighborhood I have ever seen in America- it was delightful.

This month, as stated earlier, Kourtney hailed from Utah to come and nanny for us. I think we were all a little nervous on Saturday the 14th when we went to the airport to pick her up and she caught an airplane out from Utah, but it has been wonderful. She is fully one of the family now. She is great with Teagan and helps out soo much around the house I don't know what we did without her.

our saving grace-Kourtney

Kourtney has a special nac getting Teagan to laugh and smile. She says it is because Teagan is so happy in the morning, but I think she is just gifted.
Here are some great photos that she took of our miss T during the day.

Our residency graduation ceremony was on Saturday June 28 at McCormick and Schmick's at Tyson's Corner. The food was great and we had a lot of fun. It was great to have Kourtney, Vanessa, Amy, Mehdi, Teagan and Craig all there to help me celebrate.

My last day at work was Monday June 30th and that was also Teagan's 2 month visit to the doctor's office. She weighed in at 13 lbs and 6 oz and had increased from the 40% to the 95%. Her head circumference is still greater then the 99% at 43 cm and her length decreased from the 75% (21 inches at 2 weeks) to the 25% (22 inches at 2 months). She had to get her first full set of shots and that was very sad for mommy, but she did great.

My first week off work we visited Daddy on the 2nd during his coffee break.

She needed a nice rest on Daddy after all that hard work
