Finshing up October

Cox farm trip on 10/10/2009
It was great to get to meet Caroline Carlson and see Rachel again while she was still pregnant and the kids had a blast. It was a little cold and drizzly, but we all still had a lot of fun.

Teagan sliding down the frog slide.

Teagan following the yellow brick road. The first time I saw this photo I had to ask…where did my little baby go? She looks very grown up here.

Teagan, Ethan, Ella and Claire all trying to balance on the hay stack for a photo op

Craig and Teagan on the slide- what fun. Craig said she had a hard time waiting her turn in line and tried to cut her way to the front several times, but she sure did love it when she finally got to go down.

The face here says it all. Can we go again?

Could there be a better family fall photo then one with a tracker?

I couldn’t resist taking a photo of this beautiful sunset that we got to enjoy while piging out at Chris’s house who always endulges everyone in a variety of fantastic food that he prepares himself.

Teagan sporting her Bronco cheerleading outfit.

Our community had a Halloween party at the park. It was great!. Teagan dressed up as a lady bug and we were even able to get her hat on with the help of Paulo or neighbor whom Teagan adores. Once dressed she was so excited to push her new wagon before taking a ride down to the park for the party.

First Trick or Treat. This picture catches proud dad and Teagan after going up to her first house and getting bubbles shaped like a pumpkin. Teagan was a fast learner and at the 5th house they residents were not home and they had left a bowl out front. Teagan managed to "quickly" put 5 different candies into her pumpkin before we stopped her.

And now up to date with September 2009

We found a great new playground on one of our Thursdays together. It was raining the first time we went, but we were having so much fun that we stayed for a while in the rain.

Teagan trying out this years Halloween costume.
Warning Do NOT look if you want to be surprised.

Teagan in her costume holding all three of her monkeys

The Emdadi family all came over for Keyvan's birthday party and we got to get a few good multi-generational photos.

Teagan's new fascination is with balls. We think she is going to be a soccer player. For the party Amy brought her Punch balls and she wanted to play with all of them at once.
She has a several words now, but the one she says with the most distinction and force is BALL.

We ended up the month of September out in Warrenton to meet the new addition to the family. A mommy goat and two baby goats. We had our own pet a pet farm, and Teagan had a blast.

Teagan's first good look at the goats.

August - POOL TIME

Back to the blow up pool...

Teagan helped to fill up the pool.

Teagan is learning to blow bubbles. Step one deep breath...

Step two blow bubbles...

Step three ---Look how proud we are

We finished the day blowing bubbles, but Teagan had more fun chewing on the bubble wands rather then blowing bubbles.

July 2009

We started out the month with a play date with Ethan. What fun!

For July 4th we went out to Warrenton for the day and watched the fireworks from the polo field and then stayed with Amy and Mehdi.

Teagan played in the ball pit during the day. No, that is not food on her mouth that is her first war wound. She fell on the corner of a padded box, but the corner punctured her skin. It was so sad.

Teagan with her Great Great Grandmother

Great way to keep track of Teagan at the field - hehe

Teagan tried on my glasses and I call this her Harry Potter look

At the end of the month we took a trip to Atlantic City. We had a great time.

So Teagan is NOT a fan of fancy dresses...good to know

June - and the summer begins

Craig ran the Lawyers Have Heart 10k. Teagan and I came to cheer him on and Teagan got to enjoy the balloon arches. And wear or play with her new sunglasses

The next day Laura came with Nicki to visit, and we had a great time.

Here is Nikki and Jada

June 18th Teagan gets to meet her great great grandmother for the first time.

Teagan's new fasination is shoes. She loves to put on our shoes and walk around the house and she is so proud when she is able to accomplish this.

Craig turned a blow up raft into a pool for Teagan in our yard, and she had a blast.

We spent Father's Day in Warrenton and had a great time.

We ended up the month with a hike along the Potomac at River Bend Park.
