The rest of March

Well, I realized today when I was writing the date that I only had 2 more days before the end of March so I thought I should try to get the updates for March up. March started with Teagan's first full weekend away at the Nona and Grandpa Max's house while mommy and daddy took a trip with Keyvan, Dave and Molly up to AC. We had a great time and it appears she did as well.

She learned how to pick up both the goats and the bunny. Look how much better she is doing this time - if you haven't seen the first pictures the poor bunny was upside down and the goat was momentarily in a headlock.

She learned to beat the drum with a stick - (note: drum can be replaced with satellite dish if available)

She got to exam the snow in great detail

She even posed for a photo at the bottom of the hill - it was a little bright so her eyes are closed but I still liked the idea that she got tired enough to pose for a photo.

Craig went out to Warrenton on Friday the 19th with Teagan and it appears she found her way into the bucket and was able to get her clothes off. I wasn't there so I am not exactly sure how this came to be, but it looks like she is trying out for one of the rodeo clowns.

On Monday we had a rainy day here and Teagan got a little stir crazy in the house so Craig took her to the Dulles Mall to run around. She even got to go on the carosel. Craig states that she loved it and did shed some of her crocodile tears when leaving but had a great time.

Slightly out of order, BUT

Once we got back from Colorado the next weekend we went out to Warrenton to see the new baby goats that were born on Valentine's Day. These were taken on 2/27/2010 so they were just about 2 weeks old.

Teagan made it to the "summit".

Craig hold all three of the new babies: Angela, Arthur and I'm forgetting the other girl but what I can tell you is that it begins with an A.

Arthur - close up

Poor bunny - Teagan really liked picking up all the animals and it was the bunnies turn after the goats.

Hey, I could get use to this

Successful weekend of firsts...

I know this comes slightly out of order from the pictures at the end of Feb in Warrenton, but I wanted to be sure to document Teagan's first use of the potty. She had a busy day on Saturday 3/27/2010. Craig had gotten us tickets to the circus the day prior so we were excited to see if she would like it. But the morning started off with Teagan going potty on her toilet for the first time. I was very excited. She has been pulling her diaper off what seemed like almost non-stop for the last 1-2 weeks but on Saturday when she started to pull it off we went to sit on the potty and she "peepeed on the potty - just like Elmo." We got her dresses after her amazing accomplishment and set off for the circus and she loved it. She was a little nervous at first - her eyes were wide and her heart was pounding, but about 5 min into she started pointed at everything and talking about it. I think she liked the animals the best, but it was hard to tell from her reaction if it was the horses, dogs or elephants that she liked best. All in all it was a great day. To top off the weekend and prove it was not just a fluke she used the potty again on Sunday - Yeah!!!
