The Big December Snow

We got a heads up from Craig's parents that DC was going to get a big snow storm so we knew we were going to be driving back into snow but we had no idea how much snow we were going to get. We ended up getting 20 inches of snow in Sterling.

The next morning 12/19/2009 our neighbors shoveled out an “igloo” and Teagan enjoyed her vantage point.

One of my co-workers has a great tradition that he let us in on. He passes out special "Reindeer Food" that you sprinkle on your lawn and "the magic glitter sparkling in the moonlight and the smell of the oats will guide Rudolf to your home." It worked for us and it was a lot of fun.
Teagan wasn't sure about this initially

But then she really got into it
